FOLKC Maintenance Day Saturday 5th November 2016

On Saturday 5th Nov between 10.00 am & 12 noon, a small group from ERM Foundation have volunteered to help maintain a site, either by weeding the 2016 Tree Day Site or helping to prepare the adjoining site for the 2017 Tree Day. Gerard Morel, Melbourne Water is organising the morning with Andrew Webster, Hobsons Bay, supplying the tool trailer and BBQ. This is a great opportunity for FOLKC to alter our monthly maintenance event from Sunday to Saturday so as to join with the other volunteers. So all welcome - meeting at car park opposite Croft Reserve in Blackshaws Road, then followed by a BBQ at 12.00 noon. Looking forward to seeing everyone on SATURDAY 5th November. Cheers Geoff

Friends of Lower Kororoit Creek (FOLKC) was incorporated in April 2001 and held its first planting on 3rd June 2001. Since then there have been countless planting days and other working bees with more than 1,000 volunteers of all ages, planting in excess of 50,000 trees, shrubs and under-storey plants along the creek ...
