Brooklyn Residents Action Group Inc in partnership with Friends of Lower Kororoit Creek Inc is holding its National Tree Planting Day event on 29 June 2014 commencing at 10am and finishing around 1pm.
Edvardo and his magic accordion will be on site to entertain and face painting of attending children will be undertaken during the morning. Lollies, drinks and a free BBQ are on offer to all who attend.
Wear suitable clothing for planting, all equipment necessary will be supplied.
The Tree Day is being presented courtesy of VicRoads, Melbourne Water, Brimbank City Council, local industry and state government authorities. A special thanks to DEPI 2,000,000 Trees Program and Corrections Victoria who also helped make this day possible.
The meeting place for the tree day celebration is at the Transpacific tip entrance, Old Geelong Road, Brooklyn. Mel Ref 40: G 9.
