National Tree Day 2017

FOLKC National Tree day 2017 is to be held on 30 July 2017 and is to be the biggest tree day and celebration since our inception in 2001. 2300 trees are to be planted followed by a massive celebration incorporating the opening of the shared trail between Blackshaws Road and Barnes Road and the launch of the artwork along the Creek all courtesy of the Toyota legacy to the Altona North community.

Hello FOLKC!

Friends of Lower Kororoit Creek (FOLKC) was incorporated in April 2001 and held its first planting on 3rd June 2001. Since then there have been countless planting days and other working bees with more than 1,000 volunteers of all ages, planting in excess of 50,000 trees, shrubs and under-storey plants along the creek ...
