Tis time to start our preparation for our planting season.
We have two areas which we will be concentrating on during 2015, the National Tree day site below Altona North Landfill and a site below Toyota in the Nature Reserve where some infill plantings are to be undertaken.
On Sunday 12 April 2015, we will be meeting at bottom of McArthurs Road to prepare the mulch for tree day at 9am. The mulch supplied is not clean and an effort to clean up some of the plastic etc from it would be appreciated.
I will be able to fill you in on our plans for National Tree Day, an exciting and memorable day for FOLKC members. This day will be one where I will be calling on you for all your effort to ensure the public attending also have a memorable day and a reason to come back to the Kororoit Creek environmental corridor in the future!
